Summer Walker secured some high-impact guest appearances for his album “Still Over It”
With Summer Walker's second studio album, “Still Over It,” which has just been released, the “Come Thru” singer has selected great artists to be on her side. With song titles ranging from “Ex For A Reason”, “Constant Bullshit” to “4th Baby Mama”, it's clear that “Still Over It” will follow the paths of 'Over It', released in 2019 with sex themes, love, relationships and the ups and downs of your emotions that come with it all.
Featuring 20 tracks, Still Over It will certainly be an attempt to rack up huge streaming numbers, especially with a long list of guest appearances and well known to the music industry. Beginning with the narration of Cardi B on the album's opening track, “Bitter”, fans will immediately be immersed in the “Still Over It” universe, moving from Cardi to JT and SZA for the first three tracks. Lil Durk, Pharrell and Omarion provide strong back-to-back appearances on "Toxic", "Dat Right There" and "Screwin" before Ciara is featured on the final track of "Still Over It." The record follows an impressive release strategy for the album that included fans breaking glass cases containing the record in hopes of securing an exclusive first listen.
And based on the willingness fans have shown in trying to break the glass cases, it's safe to think there's an extremely high level of enthusiasm for the work of Walker, who debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top 200 with his latest album.
Even before the release of her new studio work, Summer Walker was the media debate recently for being an anti-vaccine person and because of that she was barred from entering a major awards show.
